It is in her intelligent play of words, in her amusement with the little things in life, in the way she grabs living by the throat and never lets go.
It may be her smile. Her dimples, specifically. It may be the way she sneezes like a lost kitten. It may be how she abruptly jumps on one's back, asking for a piggyback ride. Or it may be her ability to contort her face in unthinkable ways in one click of the camera then strike a pose to give an effortlessly beautiful shot in another.
Whatever the reasons people say, one thing is certain: Tix is not one you would easily forget.
You just couldn't.
Tix is probably not as mysterious as she sometimes seems to be. She loves to run, not to excess, and can get quirky and kooky, also not to excess. She's smart. But she never really goes enough out of her way to show it, perhaps to keep things enigmatic. She is fond of making people wonder, you see. Once you get to know her more, she often came as being likable enough, so if she isn't, it's not her fault.
If it is her air of mystery that initially grips your attention, it is her effervescent personality, carefree attitude, and of course, her antics that make you want to stay in her company.
But there's definitely more to her than meets the eye.
What sets her apart, I say, is her willingness to come to her friends' rescue right away, no questions asked, when they are in dire need. It is her way of laughing off her mistakes and carrying on, wiser than before. It is her capacity to acknowledge how massive her pride is, without knowing that she says sorry more sincerely than most people I know.
Tix just has this energy that people naturally gravitate to. It is in her intelligent play of words, in her amusement with the little things in life, in the way she grabs living by the throat and never lets go.
And yes, perhaps her smile. Her dimples, even.
Still, what they say or what I say -- they don't really matter much if you don't get to know Tix personally. With all that is said, I think she is capable of being anything she wants to be, and whichever path she chooses, she'll go a long way. Her running will help.
